Yuriy Davydenko

Research Associate, Department of Public Management and Policy, Public Performance and Management Group

Yuriy Davydenko is a doctoral candidate in public policy analysis at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and a research assistant with the Public Performance and Management Group. As both an academic and applied research professional, he focuses on various performance issues that arise in the public and nonprofit sectors. The areas of his scholarly and professional expertise include policy analysis and evaluation, performance measurement and accountability, public finance and budgeting, information technology and e-government. His professional interests also extend into quantitative research methods and data science. He teaches courses in policy analysis, data analysis, and governmental budgeting.

Since Yuriy joined the PPMG in 2009, he has worked on a range of applied research and technical assistance projects with state and local public agencies. He has been involved in research design, data collection, data analysis, and customer report development.

Yuriy earned his Master's in Public Administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. He also has a Specialist in Management (equivalent to MBA) from Kyiv National Economic University, and a Specialist and Bachelor degrees in Electronic Engineering from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
